Agents use x-ray to find meth in car on Highway 86

Meth found to have an estimated street value of about $62,000

SALTON CITY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Border Patrol agents say an x-ray was used to find 30 pounds of meth after scanning a man's car on Highway 86.

At about 1:15 p.m. on June 4, agents referred a Nissan Sentra to secondary inspection at a checkpoint.

Meth found hidden in car

A K-9 team pointed towards the back of the car, when an x-ray scanned the vehicle and revealed 30 packages of meth.

The 25-year-old woman who drove the car was arrested.
