Brawley police respond to armed robbery near W. Legion Road and Los Olivios Drive

BRAWLEY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Brawley Police says an armed robbery occurred near West Legion Road and Los Olivios Drive.

At about 2:04 a.m. on May 24, officers responded to a call and were told a man was using a taser and a firearm.

Brawley Police says a victim was targeted and was not part of a random attack.

Later that day, a team used a search warrant to investigate a home on 3rd Street where officers found evidence of the robbery and a weapon.

Two people were arrested, one juvenile and a 19-year-old who is being held on bail.
