Program to begin on June 7 for students to earn credits

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Union High School District has announced it will offer an in-person Summer Learning program running from June 7 to June 24, 2022.

The program will be offered at all six of the district's campuses, with classes starting at 7:45 a.m. and ending at 12:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Students will be able to earn any credits they've lost while also earning extra credit for enrichment.

“Each summer we have made strides to improve both the opportunities available for students to recover credits and earn initial credit through enrichment,” YUHSD Associate Superintendent Lisa Anderson expressed. “This summer we are especially proud of the offerings for our students.”
