Yuma County Board of Supervisors Chairman ends COVID-19 proclamation

MGN

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The chairman of the Yuma County Board of Supervisors made an announcement on Monday ending his COVID-19 emergency proclamation in unincorporated areas.

Chairman Marco A. Reyes made the proclamation in March, 2020 and is ending it effectively immediately.

This is taking after Governor Doug Ducey recently ended his own proclamation.

“Thanks to the combined efforts of our public health and emergency management workers, healthcare workers, first responders, frontline and essential workers, businesses, and citizens, the COVID-19 outbreak in Yuma County has been brought under control," stated Chairman Reyes.
