City of Yuma to begin pavement preservation project

MGN/City of Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The City of Yuma Public Works Department will begin to improve pavements on Monday, April 11 and is expected to run through May 6.

Crews will be working to improve pavements in neighborhoods on the southeastern side of Yuma, as well as other frequently used streets such 1st Street and 3rd Street.

Roadwork will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. so drivers should be aware of any possible lane restrictions or road closures, as well as any future delays.

This project to improve pavements will help extend the lifespan of a road's surface and be safer for drivers.

A map of the project can be found here.
