Migrant found hiding in Yuma desert, has previous conviction of domestic violence

At least 30 migrants found with man

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - United States Border Patrol agents arrested a man who was hiding in a Yuma desert and was convicted for domestic violence.

26-year-old Omar Martinez Gomez was arrested along with 31 other migrants after illegally crossing the U.S./Mexico border.

Gomez was found to have a previous conviction in Phoenix for strangling his pregnant girlfriend in September.

All the migrants, including Gomez, were removed from the U.S.
