Biden says he’s be “fortunate” if Donald Trump ran again

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - President Biden says he is not thinking about the 2024 presidential election, but instead he is focused on the upcoming midterm elections in November.

But if 2024 is a rematch with former President Donald Trump, the President suggested he is not worried about it.

"I don't blame, I don't criticize anybody for asking that question. But the next election, I'd be very fortunate if I had that same man running against me," said Biden.

With 2020's loss, Trump became the first President to lose a re-election bid since George H.W. Bush in 1992.

The former Republican leader has not made any official announcements on a 2020 Presidential bid, but only hinted at it.
