Shooting at Gateway Park, suspect on the run

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Police say they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds and a suspect has fled on Thursday afternoon.

At about 3:41 p.m., the Yuma Police Department received a call on North Madison Avenue near Gateway Park about an assault.

They found a man with gunshot wounds and he was later taken to the Yuma Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police also say a suspect has left the scene and has not been identified.
