Airline CEOs calling for Biden to drop the federal transportation mask mandate

(KYMA, KECY) - CEO's at 10 airlines and cargo carriers want President Biden to end the transportation mask mandate and the testing requirement for international travelers.

That includes major carriers like American Airlines, Delta, Hawaiian Airlines, and United Airlines.

The executives signed a letter to to Biden that outlined their views.

It stated that mask and testing requirements quote "are no longer aligned with the realities of the current epidemiological environment."

Earlier this month, the White House moved the end of the mask mandate to April 18.
