Group of 100 migrants apprehended at US-Mexico border

US Border Patrol Yuma Sector

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Sector Border Patrol Agents posted a photo to social media about apprehending at least 100 migrants on Wednesday morning.

Agents say the large group came from several different countries and were all taken to a Yuma station for processing.

February reportedly saw over 160,000 arrests at the Southern Border, which is more than a 6% increase compared to January.

Many asylum seekers had to be turned away for several reasons, including a new reenacted policy and Title 42.

A lot of these crossings have also cost taxpayers money due to 911 calls regarding migrant spottings.
