Unidentified person dies in car crash on Aten Road
Reason for the crash under investigation
EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - A car crash in El Centro led to one death on Sunday morning.
At about 8:20 a.m., an unidentified person was driving a 2003 Honda on Aten Road east of Forrester Road.
The Honda drifted onto another lane hit a 2021 Dodge.
The 77-year-old man driving the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the Dodge suffered minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
Impairment by drugs or alcohol does seem to be a factor in the crash.
