Border Patrol agents rescue dehydrated migrant in desert

Migrant found dehydrated and with heat exhaustion

Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A migrant was found lying near the border fence in the desert and was administered lifesaving aid.

The migrant was found by a security contractor who was monitoring equipment around the area.

The contractor contacted Border Patrol agents, when a Wellton Emergency Medical Technician agent determined the migrant was suffering from severe dehydration and heat exhaustion.

An air ambulance transported the migrant to the Yuma Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
