President Bill Clinton must stay in hospital additional night
(CNN) Former President Bill Clinton will be spending a little bit more time in a california hospital as doctors treat him for sepsis.
Clinton was admitted to an intensive care unit Tuesday, diagnosed with sepsis from a urinary tract infection, or UTI.
Clinton's wife and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton was seen arriving at the hospital Saturday with their daughter Chelsea.
A spokesperson said clinton will be staying at the hospital one more night, even though his health is 'trending in the right direction.'
Doctors and members of Clinton's staff say he tested negative for COVID-19.
They also made it clear this was not a heart-related issue. Clinton had heart bypass surgery in 2004 and had two stents inserted in 2010.
