7 killed, dozens injured after rollover crash in Rosarito

ROSARITO, Baja California (KYMA, KECY) - Police say seven people were killed and dozens were injured in a rollover bus crash south of Rosarito Tuesday night.

Tijuana Police Department said the bus carried 50 factory workers and crashed near Popotla.

Firefighters and paramedics tried to extricate multiple passengers trapped in the wrecked bus, which rolled over on its side during the crash. Police said it is unclear what caused the crash.

No other information was available.
