More than 70% of ADCRR inmate population now fully vaccinated

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry (ADCRR) said more than 25,000 inmates are fully vaccinated, which is 70.4 percent of the population.

ADCRR said it continues to offer inmates the vaccine as its state as well as private prison facilities. So far, the department has received 44,880 doses from the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Private prisons have administered 10,273 vaccines as of Friday. Officials will continue to provide weekly updates on the vaccines administered in prisons.
