Child’s body found, police need help identifying

Hikers discovered corpse while exploring a trail


MOUNTAIN SPRINGS, Nev. (KYMA, KECY) - Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) is asking for help to identify a young male who was found near Mountain Springs and State Route 160 on Friday morning around 8.

He was the victim of an obvious homicide.

The young man is believed to be Hispanic, between the ages of 8 and 12.

Officers are asking the public to please share this sketch. They hope someone related to/familiar with the child will recognize him.
