YCSO searching for aggravated assault person of interest

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Deputies are searching for a person of interest in a shooting that left one person injured.

The Yuma County Sheriff's Office said 38-year-old William R. McMillan is a person of interest in this case. If you see this individual, please do not approach him and instead contact law enforcement.

Deputies received reports of shots fire at the 1800 block of S. Sheryl Drive around 1:30 a.m.

When deputies made contact with the victim, they saw a single gunshot wound to the foot. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital, and was released after receiving treatment.

This case remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this case, please contact the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office at 928-783-4427 or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
