Yuma Sector apprehends more than 215 migrants in a span of 3 days

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents continue to apprehend large groups at the border.

Agents said they found 42 migrants last Saturday at County 17 and the Salinity Canal. Earlier that day, they found 79 migrants in the same area.

On early Monday morning, they found 98 migrants in the same area. Yuma Sector said all three were taken to the station to be screened. Last weekend, they apprehended 1,600 migrants in just one weekend.
