Yuma County cases increase by 26

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma County Public Health District confirmed 26 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) Saturday, bringing the total to 363.

The death toll remains at 4.

Yesterday the county was reporting 22 hospitalizations, however today that category is now listed as "unavailable." The county has not released specific information regarding COVID-19 recoveries thus far.

The 20-44 age continues to carry the bulk of countywide cases, making up 43 percent of the total. However, other age groups are on the rise as local testing efforts increase.

Numbers show there is an increase of four patients in the critical 65-and-older category, now at 47.

Female and Male categories are currently evenly matched, with each making-up about 50 percent of all cases.
