ECPD investigate shooting threat at CUHS and SHS
UPDATE: 10:59 A.M.
EL CENTRO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Officials say as of 1:15 p.m., the threat has escalated to Central Union High School.
Students have been dismissed and police is at the scene investigating the threat.
The threat that has circulated on social media states the shooting was taking place during lunch and for students to be careful.
Parents received a text message from the school of a possible threat and the dismissal of the students.

Students are being picked up after a threat circulates online.
According to Central Union High School District, the threat is a rumor that was posted on social media Sunday night.
The district says parents have been notified.
The El Centro Police Department is investigating.
