Man shot in shoulder in SLRC

SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Mexico (KYMA, KECY)- A 33-year-old man is expected to be okay after being shot in the shoulder in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico.

Tribuna de San Luis reports the man was shot on Wednesday as he sat inside his car by an unknown suspect by Avenida Quintana Roo at Calle 11.

According to the victim, the victim heard gunshots and immediately got out of his vehicle not realizing he was the one that was shot.

The victim says the suspect ran and fled the scene.

Police continue to investigate the crime.
