Suspect on the loose after armed robbery at Quality Inn

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- A suspect is on the loose after robbing Quality Inn Monday, according to police.

The Yuma Police Department (YPD) says the suspect threatened to shoot the clerk if she didn't give him the money, but police say the suspect did not have a weapon.

Upon receiving the money, the suspect fled in a burgundy sedan.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man, approximately 5'5 to 5'7, and weighs anywhere from 150 to 170 pounds. He was seen wearing dark jeans, a dark hoodie, dark sunglasses, and had a black bandana over his face.
