26 people arrested in Phoenix during ‘Operation Silent Predator’

PHOENIX, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- 26 people have been arrested in a recent operation targeting child sex crimes in Phoenix Thursday.

ABC 15 reports Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, and Chandler police partnered with Homeland Security Investigations for "Operation Silent Predator."

According to reports, the undercover detectives set up decoys believed to be 14 years or younger to capture the suspect.

Police say the suspects arrested in the operation are between the ages of 21 and 69 years old.
