Body “burned beyond recognition” found in Mexicali

MEXICALI, B.C. (KYMA, KECY)- Mexican police discover a body that was found on a burning mattress in Mexicali.

According to La Voz de La Frontera, neighbors reported seeing a mattress with a body on fire at Valle de las Misiones at 5 a.m., Sunday.

While investigating, Mexican officials say the burned body was found with its hands tied up.

Police say that the body was burned beyond recognition.

However, police continue to investigate the events that led to this incident.
