NEW YORK (CBS, KYMA) - A raccoon casually wandered into a Manhattan church during a quarterly candlelight service Friday, September 25.

CCTV footage shared by St Joseph's Church in Greenwich Village shows the mammal scurry past churchgoers, and a priest inside the parish investigating the unexpected visitor.

The raccoon is then seen maneuvering through candlelights outside and fleeing down the street past confused bystanders.

"I've never seen one of those in the city," a pedestrian is heard saying.
