CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Ohio inmate breaks free from handcuffs

COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio (CBS, KYMA) - Two Columbiana County Court bailiffs were injured in Lisbon, Ohio Monday after an assault at the courthouse, according to news outlets.

Video from the Columbiana County Clerk of Courts appeared to show Timothy J. Reaggle breaking free from his handcuffs and punching a bailiff in the face.

According to news outlets, it happened after a sentencing hearing.

Video shows Reaggle running off before shoving another bailiff. He was stopped by other deputies before he could escape the courthouse.

Reaggle was being sentenced after pleading guilty to aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, aggravated menacing, failure to comply, and two misdemeanor counts of assault, according to a local media report.

He was taken to Columbiana County Jail, and was awaiting his indictment on new charges relating to Monday's incident.
