One killed by flood waters in Colorado

BELUAH, Colo. (NBC, KYMA) - Authorities in Colorado say a man was killed in Sunday night's flooding in Pueblo County.

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Department says the 80-year-old man was standing near an intersection when he was caught by rushing water.

He has been identified as Henry Humphreys.

Heavy rainfall and hail caused a creek to overflow Sunday night.

The area has been prone to flash flooding because of the Aspen Acres wildfire that burned more than 100,000 acres.
