News anchor in Tennessee falls asleep during newscast

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (CNN, KYMA) - A news anchor in Memphis, Tennessee was caught on air dozing off.

"Good Morning Memphis" anchor Dominique Dillon fell asleep during a newscast last month, but she's not in trouble.

Her bosses at WHBQ are fully supporting her, as well as many of her viewers.

Dillon came back to work from maternity leave in April, and it can be pretty tough to get a good night's sleep with an infant in the house.

Morning show team members often have to report to work at 3 a.m. Central or earlier.
