Authorities in the Bahamas are investigating a seaplane crash

BIMINI, THE BAHAMAS (NBC, KYMA) - Police in the Bahamas are investigating a seaplane crash that happened Saturday.

Images taken on the scene show the aircraft partially submerged in the water Saturday near Bimini, the Westernmost District of the Bahamas.

All ten people on board, eight passengers and two crew members, were rescued.

Police say the aircraft tried to take off Saturday morning when it encountered some boat traffic. As the pilot changed course the plane started pulling left while still on the water.

The aircraft eventually crashed into a dock, leading to the investigation.
