Gas prices rise to over $4

(NBC, KYMA) - Gas prices are once again on the rise.

According to AAA, the national average price for a gallon of gas is now over $4. That's a 20 cent jump compared to last month.

The increase in price comes as the conflict in Iran continues and oil supply dangers related to the Strait of Hormuz pick back up.

Since the Iran war began at the end of February, gas prices have risen about 37.8%.
