NEW YORK (CBS, KYMA) - Former mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa made a surprise appearance at the New York City Pride March Sunday.

Footage from parade attendee @NovaLunaReads shows the Republican dancing and waving at the crowd while traveling through Fifth Avenue on a iHeartRadio float.

"Oh it's the iHeartRadio float during the NYC Pride parade. I wonder which celeb will be ther- CURTIS SLIWA?!" the source wrote to X.

The politician stopped to pose for pictures with parade-goers.
