73% of Americans say they believe a car’s cleanliness reflects a person’s self-care

(CBS, KYMA) - A new study shows that the condition of someone's car could put the brakes on their love life.

2,000 dating Americans were polled, and 73% said they believe the way a person takes care of their car shows how well they take care of themselves.

A majority said a messy car means a messy personal life, and on the flip side, a clean car shows someone has their life together.

Among the biggest red flags are trash on the floor, bad odors, and leftover food or drinks.
