Jet skids off runway at New Jersey airport

TETERBORO, N.J. (CBS, KYMA) - Officials with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey say a jet skidded off a runway at Teterboro Airport in Bergen County early Monday evening.

Operations were briefly suspended until the unaffected runway was reopened at 7:30 p.m., the Port Authority said.

There were no injuries reported in the incident at the small two-runway airport, officials said.

"At 6:27pm, a Learjet 60 was landing at Teterboro airport and skidded off the end of the runway," a Port Authority spokesperson said.
