CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Maze-like security line in Houston airport

HOUSTON (CBS, KYMA) - Security lines snaked in and out of a Houston airport Wednesday as air-travel hubs across the country faced shortages in Transportation Security Administration staff members amid a partial government shutdown.

The footage was captured at George Bush Intercontinental Airport by Robin Luna, who said three to four hours of waiting were to be expected for flyers.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were recently spotted at the facility, after President Donald Trump said agents were to be deployed at airports across the country to assist with security checks.

ICE personnel were deployed at more than a dozen airports across the U.S., including Houston, Atlanta, Newark, Philadelphia, and Chicago, according to PBS.
