Scaffolding comes loose along the side of high-rise under construction in Florida

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (NBC, KYMA) - A frightening scene unfolded along the Gulf Coast, a construction scare in Panama City Beach, Florida caught on camera.

Cellphone video capturing the tense moments Tuesday as scaffolding suddenly came loose along the side of a high-rise under construction in Panama City Beach.

Crews were working near the upper levels when the structure shifted, prompting an emergency response.

City officials say police and fire rescue quickly arrived to secure the area, while the construction company stabilized the scaffolding.

No injuries were reported.
