Crowd confronts men suspected to be ICE outside taco shop in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (CBS, KYMA) - A crowd gathered outside a Mexican restaurant in Minneapolis Sunday, and confronted a group of men they suspected of being Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

Video recorded by @Zelafont shows protesters approaching the men with whistles as they walked toward a white SUV, with one protester knocking a plastic cup from a man's hand.

Another protester is seen throwing one of the men's hats before they all enter their vehicle and drive away.

@Zelafont told Storyful that the men told the crowd they were not ICE agents.

In additional footage recorded by @Zelefont, a man is seen in the back of the vehicle, sitting next to what appears to be handcuffs.

The restaurant, Tacos El Primo, later posted on Facebook, thanking the community for intervening and "taking care of us."
