Man accused of killing his ex-wife and her husband extradited back to Ohio

(NBC, KYMA) - The man suspected of killing his ex-wife and her husband, a dentist, in their Columbus, Ohio home has been extradited from Illinois to Ohio.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says Michael David McKee was booked into the James A. Karnes Corrections Center Tuesday afternoon.

McKee has been indicted on four counts of aggravated murder and one count of aggravated burglary in the deaths of Spencer and Monique Tepe.

The 39-year-old surgeon was arrested and indicted in Illinois last week, where he waived his extradition hearing to be arraigned on charges in Franklin County.

McKee's public defender in Illinois indicated that he plans to plead not guilty to the charges.

It's unclear when his next court date will be.
