Large fire breaks out at recycling center in London

LONDON (CBS, KYMA) - A large fire broke out at a recycling center in Southall, London, on January 11.

Video filmed and posted to TikTok by @vishika.vadhvana from a nearby neighborhood shows a fireball exploding upward amid heavy smoke.

The London Fire Brigade said the fire was at a recycling centre on Johnson Street where "around 15 tonnes of mixed recycling was alight, and said eight fire engines and "around 60 firefighters" responded.

Nearby passenger rail was disrupted due to the smoke, National Rail confirmed.

No injuries were reported.
