Monkey breaks into music store in Tennessee

MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (NBC, KYMA) - A monkey on the loose causes quite a commotion inside a music store in Morristown, Tennessee.

Footage captured shows a mischievous Cinnamon Capuchin monkey named "Chester" having a play day inside the Trade Center after entering the business through a small pet door.

The furry primate is just full of shenanigans, tossing around a box and playing with what looks like a keyboard, but thankfully, Chester didn't damage any musical instruments, or expensive items.

The business owner says the little guy made a big mess though, turning on water faucets at four sinks, and causing them to overflow.

Authorities later captured the monkey, believed to have been stolen from a farm in Alabama and taken to the Morristown area where it was sold.

There is no word how the furry creature escaped, but according to an NBC affiliate in Knoxville says Chester is now being returned to his rightful owner.

An investigation is underway.
