CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Snow falling in Colorado

(CBS, KYMA) - Snow fell on Woodland Park, Colorado in the early hours of Sunday, footage shows, after the National Weather Service (NWS) forecasted snow to return to the mountains through the weekend.

Footage captured by @hiracing shows snow falling, with the caption reading, "It finally #snowed #snow #snowing lol."

He posted a follow up on X with the caption reading, "Wind picked up a bit and the temp dropped a bit. Results lol."

"It will be cold, blustery, and snowy for some on Sunday, though snow east of the mountains will be spotty and light," the NWS said, writing "winter returns" in an update.

Up to one inch of snow was expected in Woodland Park, with temperatures between 11 and 31 degrees Farenheit (-11 and -0.5 degrees Celsius), according to the NWS.
