Flags flown at half-staff at Sydney Harbor Bridge

SYDNEY (CBS, KYMA) - Flags at Australia's most iconic bridge were flown at half-mast Monday to pay tribute to the victims of the deadly mass shooting at Bondi Beach.

Footage streamed live by WebcamSydney shows the flags atop the Sydney Harbor Bridge being lowered on Monday morning.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese ordered all flags across Australia to be flown at half-mast to honor the victims of the Bondi Beach attack, which happened over the weekend.

"As a mark of mourning and respect and in accordance with protocol, the Australian National Flag should be flown at half-mast on Monday, 15 December 2025 from all buildings and establishments occupied by Australian Government departments and affiliated agencies. Other organisations are welcome to participate," the announcement said.
