Border Patrol agents chase woman in Louisiana

MARRERO, La. (CBS, KYMA) - Security footage shows the moment a 23-year-old U.S. citizen in Marrero, Louisiana, was chased into her home by Border Patrol agents on Wednesday, December 3.

Footage provided to Storyful by her mother, Ramona Anglin, shows her daughter, identified as Jacelynn Guzman, running toward the house shouting "leave me alone" as two agents pursue her on foot with two vehicles nearby.

Guzman told NOLA.com she had been walking home from a corner store when an SUV pulled up beside her and two masked men exited, whom she later realized were federal immigration agents.

She said she twice told them she was an American citizen before turning and running toward her parents' home.

Her stepfather, Juan Carlos Anglin, told the outlet he initially feared she was being kidnapped after hearing her screams.

Security footage shows him confronting the agents at the gate, where he said they displayed a photograph of a woman who appeared significantly older than his daughter.

It happened as Border Patrol teams carried out "Operation Catahoula Crunch," a federal immigration enforcement effort deployed across the New Orleans area.
