December 1 is National Pie Day

(CNN, KYMA) - Thanksgiving may be in the rearview, but if you have left-over pumpkin pie, or any other kind of pie, Monday is the perfect day to devour it as it's National Pie Day.

Actually, make that national pie day part two. The pie celebration on December 1 is the second observance of the year.

According to NationalDayCalendar.com, the more popular National Pie Day is on January 23.

Bake it up, slice it up, and gobble it up, whether it's blueberry, sweet potato, pumpkin, or pecan. Any way you slice it, it's a nice way to celebrate the end of the week.
