Aston Martin engineers restore British man’s ‘Bond car’

LONDON (CBS, KYMA) - It's a real-life James Bond comeback story straight out of the movies as a British man's "Bond car," which he brought for about $12,000 in the 1970s, spent decades rusting on his driveway.

Aston Martin engineers spent four years restoring the forgotten DB5 back to its showstopping shape.

Owner John Williams says the 007 magic came rushing right back when he took the wheel.

"It's unbelievable. My girl's back and up and running," Williams expressed.

From rust bucket to a $1.3 million dream car, Williams says he won't sell as he wants to keep it in the family.
