High school students in North Carolina hold walkout protest

RALEIGH, N.C. (CBS, KYMA) - High school students held a walkout in protest of recent federal immigration actions in North Carolina Monday.

Footage filmed and posted to TikTok by user @sneyder7184 shows Southeast Raleigh Magnet High School students walking out in protest in Raleigh, North Carolina.

According to news reports, students walked out the front doors of the school at 11:00 a.m. Eastern, holding up signs and using a megaphone.

The walkout comes in response to an operation called Charlotte's Web, during which U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested over 270 people in Charlotte.
