Two arrested in connection to jewelry heist at the Louvre

PARIS (NBC, KYMA) - French police have made arrests in connection with the daylight jewelry heist at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

French media reports two men were taken into custody on suspicion of organized theft and criminal conspiracy.

According to Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau, one of the men was arrested Saturday at Charles de Gaulle Airport as he was preparing to leave the country.

Investigators are still working locate all of the perpetrators involved, as well as locked the eight pieces of stole crown jewels that have an estimated value of 88 million Euros ($102 million).
