Former President Joe Biden surprises baseball fans with appearance at Phillies game

PHILADELPHIA (CBS, KYMA) - Joe Biden made a surprise appearance at the Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers game Monday, footage shows.

The 82-year-old was seen engaging with baseball fans in the stand at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, and even posed for photos.

Footage captured by TikTok user @maliyahskye shows the former president at the game, captioning the clip: "Joe Biden sitting behind me at the Phillies game wasn’t on my bingo card."

The Dodgers went on to defeat the Phillies 4-3 in Game 2 of the National League Division Series.
