Cincinnati Zoo introduces newborn gorilla

CINCINNATI (NBC, KYMA) - There's a new attraction at the Cincinnati Zoo as a baby gorilla was born over the weekend, joining the zoo's family.

The baby is a Western Lowland gorilla and is part of one of three gorilla troops at the zoo.

His mother is a 12-year-old gorilla named Gladys, and footage captured by the zoo shows her holding and loving on him, and says the baby is Gladys' first child and the 51st gorilla born at the zoo.
