One dead after severe storms roll through county in Texas

DENTON COUNTY, Texas (NBC, KYMA) - One person died and cleanup begins in Denton County, Texas after storms blew through late Sunday.

Winds clocked at more than 70-miles an hour hit the Town of Sanger, about 30-miles north of Fort Worth.

The strong storm took out part of a wall at a distribution warehouse, but everyone got out without injury.

Across the highway, a camp site took a direct hit sending some trailers tumbling. That's where one woman died after her trailer was tossed in the storms.

Two 18-wheelers were overturned in the strong winds forcing I-35 to shutdown for hours.

In addition to the winds, the City of Denton had seven-inches of rain fall overnight leading to minor flash flooding.
