Two ticketholders in Texas and Missouri win Powerball jackpot

(NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Saturday night's Powerball drawing turned up two winners for the massive jackpot, which is the second largest in American history.

The winning tickets, sold in Texas and Missouri, will share a jaw-dropping total of nearly $1.8 billion.

The winners get the option of an annuitized prize of $893.5 million or a lump-sum payment of $410.3 million.

Texas Lottery confirmed its winning ticket was sold at a gas station convenience store in Fredericksburg. However, it is unclear where the winning ticket in Missouri was sold, and the identities of the winners have not been released.

Here are the winning numbers again for a share of almost $2 billion: 11, 23, 44, 61, 62, and the Powerball, 17.
